We Support FIT Alumni

In our effort to help in the relief effort of Hurricane Sandy, the Office of Alumni and Faculty Relations will be holding a series of alumni events to unite the community and help those affected by the storm. Many in our FIT network have suffered severe loss and damage to their homes and businesses, and we are eager to lend a hand.

We encourage you to share your stories with us and fellow alumni on our Facebook Forum or email us at alumnirelations@fitnyc.edu to let us know how we can help you.

  • Wednesday, November 14th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Barrio Bar Alumni Night - Please join us as we kick off our first relief event at Barrio Bar, a restaurant in lower Manhattan that has been recuperating from the devastation of the storm. Bar Barrio is owned by Joseph Castro (AMC '99), an FIT alumnus who reached out to us for help during this difficult time. RSVP

  • Thursday, November 15th, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - FIT Blood Drive - Imagine the impact you could make by saving 1, 2 or even 3 lives by giving just ONE pint of blood!
