#19 Megan Houff Position: Middle Hitter Height: 6-0 Hometown: Longmeadow, MA High School: Longmeadow Major: Fashion Merchandising Management

#19 Megan Houff is a freshman from Longmeadow, MA.  Megan has been a major asset to the FIT volleyball program.  She led the team in kills and blocks.  She is explosive offensively and dominates the net against opponents.  Megan is also a very offensive server.  She has excellent placement and power to her serve.  Although she doesn’t play full rotation defense, she is one of the best passers on the floor.  We are able to rely on her for defense and serve receive. 

Megan was recently named Region 15 Division III Player of the Year winning the honors by a landslide over her opponents.  She was also named NJCAA Division III Player of the Week during the 2012 season.  As a high school player, Megan was a two-time All Western Massachusetts First Team Player.  She was also named to the All State Team in her senior year of high school.  Her team voted her Most Valuable Player and Top Offensive player.  As a junior, Megan was named the Republican Newspaper Player of the Week.
