The Women's Volleyball team was at Hostos Community College for the season's second match on September 20th, defeating the Caimans 3-1 (25-10, 22-25, 25-13, 25-14).  The victory is the second straight for FIT, moving them to 2-0 on the young season.

The team came out strong in the first set, winning it 25-10.  According to Coach Thomas though, the team lost some of their concentration on passing and footwork during the second set, which led to the 22-25 loss.  However, the Tigers showed up in the third and fourth sets, winning 25-13 and 25-14 to take the match 3-1.

There were some highs and lows during the match, but ultimately the Tigers pulled through behind Megan Houff who had 15 kills and 12 digs, Lauren Curley with 21 assists, 4 aces, and 9 digs, and Sarah Grochowski with 11 digs and 3 aces.

The Tigers, now with a season record of 2-0, offensively are getting quicker and more explosive when their passing is on point.  Tigers' players agrees, "When we have great passes, we are amazing to watch."
