Turnaround Times

Full Service Area Jobs:

These services include printing, copying, large format scanning & bookbinding.

  • Same Day*: Job submitted before 1:00pm. We will call you when your job is ready for pick-up.
  • 24 hour*: Job submitted after 1:00pm. If job completed sooner than 24 hrs., we will call you when your job is ready for pick-up.
  • Rush*: Price doubles, 1-2 hr. turnaround time. Availability is subject to change and will vary by time of day and current demand of the services requested. PrintFX staff will  determine the availability and probable turnaround time at the time of drop-off. Rush jobs submitted after 5:00pm that cannot be completed by closing may be deferred and treated as a rush job submitted for 9:00am the following day.
  • Both service desk and online submitted jobs are integrated together into our queue at time of submission.

*Turnaround time changes if your job’s on hold because of file errors or additional information is needed for PrintFX to complete it.

    Online Print Jobs:

    This service includes printing only. We don't accept copying, binding, 3D or laser cutting jobs via online ordering.

    • Same Day* & 24 hour* turnaround times are the same as above but those jobs submitted when PrintFX is closed will be considered a 9am next day job.
    • Rush*: Price doubles, 1-2 hr. turnaround time. Please ask PrintFX staff if a Rush is possible by speaking directly to someone by phone (212 217.5470) or in person (Pomerantz D529A) during open hours. We will not honor a Rush if you indicate it on your order form, via email or voicemail.

    Live Job Status Log:
    For PrintFX customers who have submitted jobs and want to know its status. After finding your name, look in the 'Job Complete' column. If that column's marked with an 's' or 'v', then your job is ready for pick up. If there's an 's' or 'v' marked in the 'On Hold' column, this means we couldn't complete your job & tried to contact you with a question.
