International Students
Federal regulations only allow FIT to issue an I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant F-1 Student Status) to students who have been admitted into a degree program at FIT. Because credit course study in the School of Continuing & Professional Studies does not lead to a degree, FIT cannot issue an I-20 for these courses. For this reason, it is not possible for international students outside the US to enter the US to study credit courses in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies.
