Using real world examples, executives will discuss their use of the cloud and how they promote and deliver product to their clients. In this way, the panel will discuss the impact the cloud is currently having on their business and will continue to have going forward. Facilitators will reflect panelists’ responses to application in the classroom for students and faculty. The goal is to inspire interdisciplinary curricular discussion and development as well as revisions to existing curriculum. The objective, as always, is to best prepare our students with job placement, marketability, and relevant skill sets. In today’s global, competitive, real-time, and cost conscious industry incorporating the cloud is critical.

11 years in industry experience, moving up through field operations to regional store management and then moving into the "home office" environment, gaining experience in buying and merchandising, then making the move from a GMM to a business / IT liaison, designing replenishment and product development systems. At JDA he has held various customer facing roles in consulting, strategy, product development and sales. Today he manages the Americas Pre-Sales team across the retail industry.
Rebecca Buisan, Director of the Product Management and Marketing, IBM Social Business Cloud
In this role, Rebecca and her team are responsible for the product and market strategy for the IBM Social Business Cloud SaaS offerings. Rebecca joined the Cloud team this year after several years leading Product Management for Web Experience solutions, including the IBM Customer Experience Suite and WebSphere Portal. Prior to IBM, Rebecca held product management and technology leadership roles at companies including RSA Security, FTP Software, and Nike.

DJ graduated from Parsons School of Design as an illustration major in 1999 at the height of the tech boom. After jumping around at a few dot coms as a graphic designer, DJ settled in as an Art Director for a large Pharmaceutical advertising agency. In 2001, he and a partner formed their own agency. In 2006, DJ moved on to launch an independent web design and consulting company with a focus on the pharmaceutical and financial sectors. That project has evolved into the current Haddad & Partners, which has since branched out to other industries and has grown into an 11 person team, spanning across 5 time zones
