Beth Servetar

Elizabeth Servetar is currently the manager of BravinLee programs, a contemporary art gallery in New York City, having worked steadily in New York galleries since 1986 (Jay Gorney Modern Art, Gorney Bravin + Lee, fiction nonfiction, Tomoko Liguori Gallery). An FIT Art Market faculty member since 1999, Ms. Servetar taught Gallery Management and now teaches the two-semester Exhibition Practicum and advises MS candidates on their theses; she also served as Acting Department Chairperson for one year. Ms. Servetar received a Visual Arts BFA from Parsons School of Design (NY) and MFA in painting and printmaking from Bennington College (VT). Other studies include Bucknell University and Parsons in Paris. She is a working artist and past recipient of a Pollock Krasner grant for painting.
