A point of purchase program has the power to introduce a message on many levels. It is a three-dimensional communication device that combines powerful imagery, key phrases, buzzwords and a call to action. Two Sections of Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design third semester students were inspired by the theme “Diversity Passport: Making Global Connections”. Using ceiling danglers, students approached messages related to global customs, appreciation of music and food, learning new languages, and embracing world culture. In the process of this project they recognized the value of the diversity that surrounds them on the FIT campus.
