At FIT, your brain isnít the only part of you that can get a great workout. FIT provides an equal opportunity intercollegiate athletics program along with recreational programs and fitness facilities to the entire college community.

FIT has intercollegiate teams in tennis, cross-country, half-marathon, track and field, dance, swimming, womenís volleyball, and table tennis. Participation in athletics provides training for life and FIT student athletes strive toward excellence within the classroom and within intercollegiate competition. FIT teams compete against other schools in Region XV of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

If a more meditative, solo type of workout is your style, try a Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Core Training or our signature workout class FIT Workout Nation. Our fitness classes are popular and are led by qualified, experienced instructors. FIT also has intramural programs that are open to everyone.

Whatever your fitness goals, you can practice, compete and stay in shape in our athletic facilities, including two fitness centers (where youíll find cardiovascular, nautilus, universal machines and free weights), a dance studio and gymnasiums.

To keep everyone as safe and injury free as possible, FIT has established some rules of conduct that must be adhered to by all who choose to use our facilities or participate in our programs. Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with these rules and regulations
