More Information for One-year Students

• To check your transfer credits, please see your degree audit (DARS).  A degree audit is a computer-based assessment that shows the progress you’re making toward meeting your degree requirements. 
• Any course granted as transfer credit will be printed with a T grade on your degree audit in the appropriate place for the requirement.  For one-year AAS students, your liberal arts transfer credits are in the Liberal Arts Applied to AAS Admissions Requirement section of your degree audit.
• Degree audits are available in the Online Information System section of MyFIT.  Go to www.fitnyc.edu/DARS for full instructions.

Placement
Placement in English writing and Math is required if you need to register for English, math or science courses at FIT.  
Please see the transfer student section of the placement website for more information if you need to take additional liberal arts requirements because of an admissions requirement or to prepare for bachelor's degree requirements.

Immunizations
Proof of immunization is required for registration. Failure to submit documentation can lead to a Health Services hold that prevents you from registering.  Submit documentation to the Health Services Office.
