Photo Talks: Jason Schmidt

Since 2000 Jason Schmidt has photographed over 500 contemporary artists in their studios and with their work. His first book, Artists, was published in 2007 and coincided with a gallery show of 130 photographs at Deitch Projects. Volume 2 of Artists will be published in the fall of 2011. Schmidt also regularly shoots for magazines and advertisers including British Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times Magazine, Wallpaper, IBM, J.Crew and Microsoft.
